Welcome to the personal page of Norma Daykin. Norma researches the role of music and arts in health and social care, using traditional techniques as well as arts based methodologies such as music.

As well as academic training in social sciences, her  research is underpinned by her training in music and her involvement in creative projects in schools, hospitals, prisons and communities.  You can use this website to find out about current projects and music  composition

Norma has undertaken research and published on many aspects of arts and healthcare. She is  Professor of Arts in Health at UWE, Bristol and is one of three executive editors of Arts and Health, an International Journal of Research, Policy and Practice.
